Field Trip Procedures:
24-hour notification will be given to parents. This will be a written note home, or if child was absent, a telephone call will be made.
Church-owned vans will be driven and seat belts used on every passenger. If 3 and under, child safety seats will be used. The parents must supply the safety seat or the child does not go on the field trip.
A van log of all passengers will be completed prior to trip with information provided by parents of emergency contact and number. A copy of this log will be left at the building in case of an emergency on the road. This van log will be referred to throughout the field trip as our child check list. The van log will be referred to at the beginning of the trip as children board van (only children on the van log will be admitted to specific van). The van log will be referred to again to re-board the van for the trip back to the building. As the child departs the van, the log will again be checked to verify the child has left the van.
