SOUL: Seekers Of Unending Light...
POM Page

Welcome to our POM (Person Of the Month) Page! Each month we will focus on someone in our group and get to know them better. They will answer some simple, not too embarrassing questions and, hopefully their candid answers will help us learn something new about them! Enjoy!

What is your favorite activity? reading, movies, hanging out with Chad and my friends
What is your least favorite activity? Grading papers!

Someone I admire is... my daddy because he was a strong man who loved the Lord.
If I could go anywhere for a day, I would go to... Scotland with Chad and my sister.
Why were you given your particular name? Daddy wanted to name me Anastasia, but since he picked out my sister's name, my mother won & named me Andromeda. He did pick out my middle name, Charisma. Both names are Greek.
How many brothers and sisters do you have? 2 brothers, 2 sisters
What is your favorite thing about yourself? Well, I like that I am sensitive to others' feelings, but sometimes I'm a marshmallow. But if someone compromises my principles or values, I can be a rock.
What is the strangest thing you have ever done? teach junior high
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten? paella
If you were another person, would you be friends with you? Yes, I think I'm a pretty good friend.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? No, that's too much work
What is the first thing you notice about someone? Their smile and whether they are friendly
My favorite smell is... babies or anything baby-related (well, maybe not poopy diapers!)
SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Happy endings of course.
What is the farthest you have been from home? Scotland (I was born there).
Do you have a special talent? Ummm.......no!
Where were you born? Scotland
What is the Most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you? Well, I've tripped a few times in front of my students, but I don't think I've actually fallen down in front of them, so that's good. I've also cried in front of my students (three different times, twice this year). That's pretty embarrassing, but for me, three times is not too bad considering I've been teaching for almost 12 years.
